| Tuesday, June 23, 2009 Site back up! |
Due to technical difficulties the site has been offline for a few days. I've also got rid of the forums since they were almost never used and they've been out of order for some time now anyway.
Anyway, I've probably overlooked some stuff in the changeover so don't be surprised if you get any error messages over the next week or so.

| Monday, June 15, 2009 LoRes Wad creator tool unleashed! |
Initial public release of LoRes Wad Creator Tool.
This app basically takes a directory full of PNG or JPG images and then does 2 things to them:
- Applies a user-defined scaling factor to them, then imports them into a new wad as "doomified" patches/textures, creating the relavant Doom lumps "PNAMES" and "TEXTURES1" so that they will show up in Doombuilder and other ports
- Imports the original, unmodified, Hi-Res version of the images and creates the DDFIMAGE lump so that EDGE will use the HiRes versions instead of the lowRes "doomified" ones.

| Saturday, February 28, 2009 Sites back up |
The sites been offline for a couple of weeks now and I just got around to getting it almost working again now. The forum is resisting my efforts at the moment unfortunately, so while it can still be read, you can't log in
While doing a bit of maintenance work and cross checking I noticed that EMUS has been downloaded over 370 times now! I wonder how many of them were EDGERs |

The version released yesterday had a very nasty crashing bug which has now been corrected. I've updated the link in the previous news post to point to the new version.
